50th Golden Jubilee Health Camp
- Miracles Happen Foundation has organized Golden Jubilee Health Camp on 18th January 2023 at football ground Jamia Hamdard.
76th Independence Day Celebration
- Miracles Happen Foundation and its volunteers celebrated 76th Independence Day on 15th August 2022 at Madarsa Darul Salam, Sangam Vihar New Delhi with great patriotic ardor, zeal, and passion.
- Students of the madarsa actively participated in the preparation. They decorated the Madrasa premises with tricolor balloons, ribbons, and flowers. The head caretaker of the madras Mr. Mohd Imran hoisted the National flag followed by the National Anthem.
- This entailed a short celebration including a patriotic group song by the Madrasa students and a speech on the history and significance of Independence Day by the director of the NGO Dr. Abhishek Sharma. He explained to the students the value of hard-earned Independence and how the freedom fighters struggled to set India free from British rule.
- The hoisting program was concluded by a vote of thanks by the Imam Mr. Tarique Mohammad of the Madrasa and the distribution of refreshments. The celebration continued till evening. There were several other events, including Independence Day quizzes, discussions, and interactions.
- Students showed a lot of enthusiasm and energy during the activities. The highlight of the entire day was a delicious meal. The pupils were given mouthwatering Hyderabadi biryani for dinner.
- The Independence Day celebration was one of the experiences for the madrasa students, they thoroughly enjoyed it.
- This full-day activity was organized by the Miracles Happen foundation as a part of Azadi ka Amrita ka Mahatsov and to mark the celebration of 76th Independence Day.
- Dr. Abhishek Sharma, Ms Gulnaz Bano and, Mr. Tasleem of the MHF and Mr. Mohd Imran Mr. Tarique Mohammad of Darul-Salam Madrasa helped in carrying out the event.
Blanket Distribution Drive - Madad

took an initiative under a campaign “Madad” to provide clothes to underprivileged people as a token of respect and dignity. - In association with the students of Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, a cloth collection drive was organized.
- Garments were collected from the residential area of the university in the boxes kept outside the different society wings.
- Volunteers then sincerely segregated the collected clothes as per age category.
- On 14 March 2021, the clothes were disturbed in Noor Nagar Juhggis in Jamia Nagar, Okhla Delhi.
- The drive was a success. Women and children were very excited and happy to see the clothes.
- The residents of the Jhuggi appreciated and thanked all the volunteers for taking care of their needs.
- It was a small effort to bring smiles to the faces of children and people of the jhuggi.

Covid 19 Awareness & Quick Response Camp in Rural Areas : Aarogya

- In mid of May 2021, MHF associated with Bundelkhand natya kala Kendra situated at Jhansi to prepare a team of volunteers.
- We trained them on WHO COVID-19 safety do’s & don’ts and labelled them as CORONA WARRIORS. These volunteers went throughout nearby areas of Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh and spread the message of “do gaz doori, mask hai zaroori ”.
- The targeted populations were street hawkers, grave diggers, vegetable sellers, villagers, policemen, railway employees, petrol pump employees and any other men found on streets without mask.
- There was free distribution of N-95 masks & Hand sanitiser bottles.
- All were primarily screened with temperature measuring device.
- They were given printed reading material on do’s and don’ts in pandemic.
- This educational intervention was an act of doing the behavioural modification of community for safeguarding the interest in Covid-19 pandemic.
Diabetes Screening Camp in Rural Areas : Aarogya
- Under the umbrella of the Aarogya initiative of MiraclesHappen foundation, a diabetic screening and awareness health camp was organized on 23 July 2021 at Sunderwal village of Lakhimpur district, Uttar Pradesh.
- The health camp started at 11 am at the Royal polyclinic of Sunderwal.
- The general health checkup was done by Dr. Asif and parameters like body mass index, blood pressure, and blood glucose were estimated and the villagers were screened for diabetes mellitus.
- For people having blood glucose levels above the normal range, confirmatory blood tests at a very nominal price were arranged.
- Those who were already on hypoglycemic drugs were counselled regarding the lifestyle modification and drug therapy.
- Patients with altered findings and poor adherence to the old treatment were referred to higher centres for further need. Non-adherence to the drug regimen was the major problem owing to the cost of the pharmacotherapy.
- Total 85 villagers turned up for the health checkup. Free medicines for the general ailment, were distributed.
- It was the first of its kind camp in the area.
- Villagers were very supportive and had positive remarks regarding the health camp.
Felicitation Ceremony Jamia Hamdard University
- The auspicious day was Independence day, 15th August, 2021, when MHF Family collectively received Honorarium felicitation from the Hon. Vice chancellor of Jamia Hamdard University, Prof.(Dr.) Mohammad Afshar Alam.
- The faculties of Jamia Hamdard along with MHF, involved in the arrangement of Oxygen concentrator machines and biPAP machines during the second wave of COVID 19 upsurge, leading to oxygen crisis in Delhi NCR region.
- Faculties of the School of Pharmaceutical Education & Research jointly received the honor and acknowledgement from Vice chancellor sir.
Miracles Happen Foundation in Media
- MHF work has been recognized by various printed media in Uttar Pradesh areas such as Danik Jagran, Amar ujala etc.
- MHF is the rising NGO in public health domain whose work gets a good media coverage time to time.
Volunteer Felicitation Ceremony
- As a responsible organization, we ensure that our volunteers are adequately equipped to perform the activities and at the same time, we recognize them by giving them a token of appreciation by certificate distribution, experience letters and recommendations, as of when required.
- We distributed the appreciation certificates to the volunteers of Bundelkhand Natya Kala Kendra, for their one week of dedicated work in the awareness campaign under the leadership of Dr. Kripanshu Dwivedi.
Women Empowerment Activities : Shakti
- Women are the backbone of our society, hence it becomes our moral duty to take care of their health.
- MHF believes in the transformation of public health from its base.
- We organized a free health campaign drive where we screened over 100 plus women belonging to the underprivileged class.
- They were checked for bone mineral density and were distributed free calcium & vitamin D supplements for three months.
- They were examined by the physicians for other ailments and were referred for higher centers for disease management on case to case basis.
World Pharmacy Day Activites : Aarogya
In September 2021, MHF jointly with School of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Jamia Hamdard University, organized a National Pharmacovigilance Week with theme “Pharmacovigilance: A step towards Patient Safety”. The objectives of the collaboration were
- To spread the awareness of adverse affects due to OTC medicine.
- To access the adverse event and adverse drug reactions associated with ongoing drug therapy and vaccine administration.
- To conduct a survey regarding cases of self administration of medicines without consultation.
- Door to door campaign to promote adverse drug reaction reporting to improve patient safety.
- Sensitizing pharmacists working in pharmacy stores about importance of adverse drug reaction reporting.
- Pharm Pharmacy Practice 3rd Semester postgraduate students actively participated in this campaign and it turned out to be an element of learning the art of pharmacy practice. More than 200 prescriptions were reviewed, patients were counseled at their home and around 50 pharmacists in Pharmacies of nearby areas like Sangam Vihar, Tughlakabad, Alkananda, Kalkaji, Govindpuri, Okhla and Lajpat nagar were sensitized for Pharmacovigilance.
